The US
is fast becoming populated with scooters. It is becoming well known
that scooters are a practical form of transportation and make for a
great alternative vehicle mainly because of rising fuel prices.
As the scooter industry develops the quality will become more
consistent and the variety of two wheeled and three wheeled vehicles
will become more wide spread.

HOW TO FIT A HELMET
AND RETENTION SYSTEM:
The best way to put
on the helmet is to hold the chin straps each
side and pull it over your head. Pass end of
strap through the d-rings and pull it. Keeping
head straight, rotate the helmet from side to
side, if helmet is adjusted properly, you should
feel the movement of your scalp should be
closely equivalent to the helmet's movement.
With your hands on the sides of the helmet, lift
the helmet slightly up and down motion, once
again the movement of your skin should
approximate the helmet movement. To remove the
helmet, pull the d-ring tab outward, to release
strap tension, then un-thread, the chin strap.
Pull the chin straps outward, rotate the helmet
forward, and lift it off.
REMEMBER:
(a) No helmet can protect the user against all
foreseeable impacts.
(b) For maximum protection, helmet must and
should provide adequate peripheral vision.
(c) All retention straps (chin straps) must be
securely fastened.
(d) Helmet can be seriously damaged by some
common being visible to the user. Apply only
mild soap and water.
(e) Make no modifications. If helmet experiences
a severe blow, please replace it.
